It seems like the true adventure genre had taken a bit of a hiatus. It could just be me, but either way I’m happy to report that it seems like there are more of these Tukang Nggame coming out and for those that enjoy a slower paced Nggame, you’re in luck.

Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual has you playing the part of Sylvie Leroux as she looks to unfold the mystery that unravels in front of her. As Sylvie, you receive an urgent phone call from your Uncle who just happens to be an archaeologist. He informs you that he’s made an incredible discovery but when you arrive back at your childhood home, you find that he has vanished and so have some other items.

You’ll be thrown into a world of puzzles very early on in the Nggame, which all seem quite inventive. I never felt frustrated with the puzzles and the hints were spot on without giving things away. It’s not to say there aren’t some strange solutions, but any seasoned adventuring type will be pleased that most of these are fairly tame and land less on the side of plain bizarre.

The voice over work is good as Sylvie remarks about each and every object you click on. Useful objects automatically get added to your inventory, and just as slick they disappear when they are no longer useful. Like many adventures Tukang Nggame of this type, you’ll sometimes have to combine objects to make something more useful to accomplish a given task.

The graphics in this Tukang Nggame are gorgeous – if you don’t count the cut scenes. It’s never really bothered me when voiceovers don’t match the lips in a cut scene. Polish developer City Interactive clearly made the Nggame for the European market first. However, the quality of the video in these scenes is strangely off which strictly seems to be a technical issue. Certainly on a DVD-ROM there is a lot of room to put quality video in, so on this point there is no excuse.

The game does do a fair bit of back tracking, which of course we’ve come to expect from this type of Tukang Nggame. I have to wonder though, is that really necessary anymore? I can understand for a download title or something that was cartridge based where space is at a premium. When it comes shipped on optical media however, you have to wonder if the reuse of assets is more about saving money than it is space and that means in some ways we haven’t advanced in this area of Tukang Nggame development at all in the past twenty years. I digress.

Overall, I had a good time with this Tukang. It’s value priced which hopefully means it might find its way into more gamers hands and that might mean a sequel is in the works.

I didn’t really care for the way the Tukang Nggame ended. Without spoiling anything, let’s just say that you’ll want to have that sequel come out next week. Which we all know doesn’t happen with video games, but on the upside I suppose it’s a good thing that I wanted more.

Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual is a decent title that is just a little shy of greatness. It once again proves compelling story combined with decent gameplay is always a formula for success. That’s one puzzle I wish all Tukang Nggame developers could solve.

There is something of a division in the subgenre of war Nggame. There are Tukang gamers who play war games, usually real time strategy, and then there are hardcore gamers who play war games, usually playing professionally in South Korea. And then there are grognards. These are the Tukang Nggame who not only play war games, most often turn based affairs, but who know the time periods involved in intimate detail, from the order of battle for both sides of a certain engagement right down to the weather conditions during the battle. For them, history isn't just facts and figures.

It's a narrative of the facts as they are and a laboratory for how things might have gone. It is a story of blood and thunder, of glory and disgrace, of great heroes and tragic figures. They're harder than hardcore, and their game are played out at an operational level, abstractions from which they can read the past. For them, tukang nggame Empire: Total War is precisely the sort of RTS that they can really sink their teeth into.

The latest iteration of the "Total War" series takes place during the 18th Century, the Age of Enlightenment, the Revolutionary Period of American history, the Age of Sail, a time when cannons roared across Europe, a time of iron men and wooden ships. Yeah, one of my favorite time periods in history. The gameplay of Empire is broken down into two sections. The first is the strategic map. From here, players move their armies around, build up new armies, improve towns and other territorial fixtures like mines and plantations, and generally get the big picture view of how their campaigns are progressing. In this, Empire does a decent enough job, though it's not going to be giving games like Civilization any sort of challenge anytime soon.

The bread and butter of the Tukang game is getting down into the mud and blood, directing the battle on the battlefield, pre-positioning units, setting up artillery barrages, leading charges and holding down forts, and getting your warships into a line of a battle for a firing pass at an enemy flotilla. While you can auto-resolve big battles, or even small battles, from the campaign map, those who are looking for fine control of the battle and think they can do a better job than the computer and calculating battle losses can jump right into the thick of it and slug it out with the enemy. Naval combat is the newest feature which hadn't previously appeared in a Total War Nggame. It's got a finer degree of control than the one-on-one ship duels of Sid Meier's Pirates, though it stays away from the swashbuckling heroics and makes boarding actions the endgame of a naval battle. For a more casual gamer, the amount of detail and choices available might seem intimidating, but it's well worth learning.

One of the big selling points of the Total War series has been the ability to scale your view down to the individual soldiers in your army. And those looking for some eye candy would do well to do so every now and again, just to oogle the fine details. Yes, a lot of the troops look alike standing side by side, but you just can't help enjoying the little touches. Sails billow, the wakes of ships ripple across the ocean, clouds of smoke from volleys of muskets float along the battlefield, and corpses litter the ground. At no time does the Tukang game look anything less than exceptional. If you've ever gone to a museum and seen dioramas of pitched battles spread out over a large scale, Empire not only recreates that feel but goes it one better by bringing the soldiers to life. Since the History Channel used Rome: Total War to help illustrate battles and events for a series on the Roman Empire, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if we see a series on the Age of Enlightenment or the American Revolution illustrated in the same fashion. It's just that good.

Audio is something of a mixed bag. On the one hand, the fine details like musket fire, clashing sabers, roaring cannons, and rolling waves are all done beautifully. On the other hand, the music is quite forgettable and the voices for units seems a bit lackluster. Having different musical themes for the various factions during the campaigns might have been an option that the Creative Assembly could have explored. Whether it could have been done without hampering other aspects of the Tukang game is a matter of conjecture. Still, the developers are to be commended for what they got right in such detail.

There are two major issues which, to my mind, keep this Nggame from the realm of "instant classic." The first is the matter of the Grand Campaign. It's a vast, world spanning, oh-my-God-that's-huge single player campaign that puts the player in charge of one of a number of factions, and have to face off against easily twice that number. Even the "short" campaign is still sprawling and while I'm the first to ask for more out of my games, this is one instance where I think less might have been a bit better, at least from the outset.

The Grand Campaign is just that, but when it's that or the four chapter skimming of colonial American history, I kinda feel like there could have been a broader array of options presented. This leads into my second complaint: the lack of a map and mission editor. While I appreciate that the developers took the time to create some scenarios based off historical events like the Battle of Trafalgar, the Battle of Porto Novo, and the Battle of Brandywine Creek, I think I would like to have had the option to create more focused campaigns, such as a more detailed campaign based off the War of Austrian Succession, the French and Indian War and the Seven Years War (two halves of the same conflict), the American Revolution, or even the French Revolution.

No doubt there are grognards who are licking their chops at the thought of creating such campaigns, as well as more literary minded folks who'd like to bring heroes such as Horatio Hornblower, Jack Aubrey, and Richard Sharpe to life (albeit slightly anachronistically). A minor complaint comes up with AI during the Grand Campaign. On occasion, an AI general will essentially commit suicide, sending a unit that's totally ill equipped to execute a siege against a city, with predictable results. I like that my defenders get experience and veterancy from that attack, but it's a battle that doesn't need to be fought and draws out the already lengthy turns of the Grand Campaign even further. As a final and less pressing issue, the load times for the realtime battles are tortuously long, enough that it's possible to go make a sandwich and come back before the map finishes loading, and that's with a fast processor.

Empire: Total War is not for the historically faint of heart. It's a sumptuous feast that has a lot of meat to it, though the meat could use a good carving knife to go with it. If you've never felt the desire to give the enemy a whiff of grapeshot or can't tell a ship of the line from a bomb ketch, this Tukang Nggame might not be for you. Then again, it might be a perfect introduction to a more disciplined style of war, where actual cunning and tactics are required instead of a Zerg rush. As for the grognards and other would-be armchair admirals and field marshals, this Nggame should already be on your hard drives by now, TUKANG NGGAME

This Tukang Nggame caught me completely by surprise. When my package arrived from Omni, I looked at the discs and thought, “Great some more tripe from Codemasters.” I could not have been more wrong. Generally, I tend to shy away from any Tukang Nggame having to do with either World War I or World War II. Sure, I enjoy my doses of Call of Duty and Medal of Honor, but the strategy Nggame for either of the Great Wars, have been difficult for me to get a handle on. The rich historical aspect of some war games seems to be a bit much for me. Soldiers: Heroes of World War II tends not to dwell on the exact tank movements of a certain battle in hopes of achieving one hundred percent accuracy. Instead, it focuses its gameplay on real life events albeit with some artistic flair.

The game plays basically as a regular real time strategy Tukang Nggame, but without any building, resource gathering or the ability to obtain more units. Instead, the gamer controls a small collection of men and is forced to surmount next to impossible odds. For instance, with just a collection of two ground troops and one Russian tank, you must take out an entire fortified German controlled village complete with antitank gun emplacements, and its own legions of troops and armor units. Of course, as most hardcore RTS Nggamers will attest to, it is always better to control directly than to let your AI take care of the job.

The developers of Soldiers took this a step further, and in the Tukang Nggame, you can and will directly control your units. From a traditional RTS camera that can be rotated and tilted, you can tell your men to go and where to shoot etc. However, a far more effective way in controlling your units, is to take direct control over them. This is accomplished by pressing a modifier on the keyboard (preset to Ctrl), and voila; the arrow keys control the direction that the unit moves and the mouse controls the targeting reticule of the unit. The importance of controlling your units directly is quickly evident as sitting back and commanding your units usually gets them blasted to bits. By directly controlling your units, taking down an enter Panzer Division, no longer becomes impossible; it is merely a challenge.

A large part of the Tukang game is the many vehicles, gun emplacements, and weapons that your units can use and pick up. There are many tanks, motorcycles, armored cars, trucks, and gun emplacements that your men can jump right in and use. Some vehicles will operate better with more than one operator. For instance a tank takes four people to operate, however, in a bid for less reality but faster paced action, one unit can use a tank, but it will operate less efficiently. With only one operator, because the driver must drive, and be the gunner, the tank must be stationary to fire. However, with the full crew, your tank will be the bane of all infantry units.

In most missions, you will be up against overwhelming odds. As such, the vehicles that you can disable, repair and commandeer will be a key strategic component to your objectives. Also, you will likely find yourself running out of ammo quite often. Luckily, you will be able to pick up and use weapons and ammunition from the scores of dead enemies that you will leave in your wake. Most weapons have specific ammunition types, and you will find designating each unit to a certain weapon type most efficient. In addition, you will have a variety of grenades and items that you can pick up and use.

The inventory does require some micromanagement and this can be irritating. Each unit’s inventory is represented by a box with a number of slots. Most anything will fit into that box, but each item takes up a different number of slots. The sensible design decision would be to have the inventory manage itself every time your soldier picked something new up. However, this is not the case, and I found myself having to manually manage the inventory of my soldiers so that each could carry more. Of course, carrying more does make your soldiers slower and does decrease their stamina. Every soldier has a stamina bar that decreases as the solder moves. It is only recovered if the solder is operating a vehicle or if they are not moving. When the stamina gauge is run down, the movement of the soldier slows to a crawl.

For the most part, the AI path finding of your units is fairly good. However, at times, they would split up and take different routes, where a single route would have been more safe and efficient. The enemy AI is also not too bad in that they will move around you and try to flank your position. Also, picking off an enemy unit will cause surrounding units to scramble for cover and return fire. There were some times when picking off enemy units in vehicles yielded no response from the other units in the vehicle. For instance, sniping a gunner of a stationary armored vehicle y will msimply caused the driver to take the gunner’s place with no reaction. Then, by sniping the driver taking the gunner’s place, I was able to take over a vehicle that I may have had to destroy initially. Jumping into vehicles also causes enemy units to somehow know your position, no matter how well hidden you were initially. You can place your soldier right next to the vehicle in plain view at a fair distance, and the enemy will not fire. However, as soon as you step into the vehicle, they somehow know that your vehicle is unfriendly.

The single player portion is spread over a series of missions leading to a greater objective for each country including the US, Germany, Russia, and the UK. Each is based on actual events, and for me, the stories generated a new appreciation and interest in finding out what really happened in each case. Each mission has set objectives and some new ones that arise when completing the set ones. The only problem with how the objectives manifest themselves is that at times, you will not know what to do, and the objectives are too vague in letting you know how to complete them.

In the allied campaign involving SAS commandos, you are required to destroy a lighthouse and two enemy mortars. The objective says that you must destroy the lighthouse, and when you click the objective guide, it will take you to the lighthouse and show it to you so you know what to destroy. Well, I had destroyed the lighthouse but had failed to destroy one of the mortars and it took me forever to find out what I was supposed to do to complete the level, as I had already taken out all of the German forces on the map. Another example of this is during the Russian campaign, you are required to steal a train and exit through a specific exit. If you do not switch the railroad tracks to the correct setting, you will automatically fail the mission as soon as the train hits starts going down the incorrect fork. With no clear directive showing you what to do, completing some of the campaigns can be frustrating.

Technically, the Tukang Nggame has some unbelievable graphics. The engine is a bit slow, so scrolling through the terrain can cause some low frame rates, however, anyone with a Radeon 9500 Pro equivalent or better shouldn’t have too many problems. The cool thing about the engine though is that absolutely everything can be destroyed. Enemy soldiers in houses will break the glass before firing upon your squad. If you throw a grenade into a house, German soldiers may fly out of the windows with explosion; may, only because every act of destruction is different depending on the position and circumstances of the explosion. Throw a grenade at a tank and if it explodes near the top, you may take out the machine gun, but the tank will still be able to move and fire its main cannon. However, if you throw the grenade under the tank it can cause the tank to flip over or simply explode five feet in the air. Driving through the countryside in a tank can is perhaps the greatest showcase of what the engine is capable of. Each act of destruction is paired with an accurate sound effect as well.

In addition to the single player portion, there is a multiplayer option that features co-op play. Also, there is already a burgeoning mod community developing for the Nggame. At last glance one of the more interesting mods I came across was a camera mod that would unlock how low the camera could zoom in. Generally, the camera can only be tilted so far down before it locks. This can be a problem in some of the levels when trying to take down units that are on higher terrain or when aiming at units in houses. The mod in question allows players to zoom right in to the action and allows for a much more free experience.

The most serious drawback I found, if you can call it a drawback these days, is that the game has some minor stability issues right out of the box. Although, I was able to play the game without too many interruptions, there were some hard crashes where I had to reset my computer. In addition, there is already a 38 megabyte patch out for the Tukang Nggame. After installing the patch, my copy failed to run, and searching the Codemasters forum, I found this to be the case for some other users as well. Every great once in a while, there’s a Tukang Nggame that doesn’t do anything new or incredibly inventive but manages to do everything right. World of Warcraft is this Tukang Nggame. Thanks to the fine people at Blizzard and my friend/editor Jakub, I haven’t lost this much sleep in quite some time.

Blizzard has pulled off a rather perfect coup by taking the formula that has made Tukang nggames like EverQuest and Anarchy Online so popular and refining it down to it’s most simple form. The down time is minimal and the action is often quite furious. What it all comes down to is that this game is, for lack of a better word, fun. Yes, fun is a dubious word to use in the magical, make-believe art of Tukang Nggame reviewing, but there it is. I dropped the fun bomb. It’s very blatant and I make no apologies. This game is crazy fun. And there are several justifications for this statement.

Blizzard owns several very successful Tukang Nggame franchises. Anyone that plays games has more than likely heard of Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo. The communities around these games are unbelievably large and for a very good reason: Blizzard releases high quality work. Along with the basic quality of their games, the WarCraft series also has a deep back story with plenty of possible cool locations to explore. Playing through any of the WarCrafts, you’ll come upon plenty of places that stand out and would make good landmarks in an RPG. There’s something to be said for seeing many of the locations in a 3D world. One of the real joys of playing a MMO is the exploration and discovery, which World of Warcraft offers in spades.

The clincher, though, is the fact that Blizzard puts a ton of work and quality control into all of their Nggame games. While the constant delays may drive fans nuts, there's no denying that a first impression lasts a lifetime, especially with a pay-to-play MMO. Blizzard's recent server capacity problems only highlight this fact.

So, let’s get down to it. World of Warcraft is a MMO. If you didn’t know that already, maybe you shouldn’t be reading this. Numpang pengumuman nih, saya sedang membuat lomba seo "kecil-kecilan" dengan tema "Tukang Nggame". Untuk pelaksanaan lomba mulai 21 Februari 2009 - 1 Juli 2009 (pukul 00.00 WIB), keyword yang dioptimasi "tukang nggame".

Peraturan:
1. Situs bisa bebas memakai platform apa saja (joomla, wp, drupal, blogspot dst)
2. Situs peserta tidak berisi materi melanggar hukum (warez, porno judi st).
3. Peserta wajib mendaftar di http://yudhis97.net/topsites dan memasang script dari topsites tersebut
4. Untuk situs non game direkomendasikan memilih kategori non game
5. Pihak yang tidak mendaftar atau melanggar peraturan tukang nggame dianggap gugur atau bukan sebagai peserta.

Pemenang:
Pemenang adalah peserta yang terdaftar di lomba dan menempati posisi 1, 2 dan 3 dengan kata kunci "tukang nggame" di hasil pencarian google.com.

Hadiah:
Juara 1 mendapat hadiah Rp. 1,5 juta

Lomba ini saya buat awalnya karena sebel 2 situs topsites saya diserbu banyak situs buat lomba seo, nah kenapa nggak kalo dibalik lomba seo topsites baru saya.
Disisi lain banyak lomba seo sekarang yang tidak membagi lagi backlink (outbound) yang didapatnya kepada peserta. Dengan format topsites backlink yang didapat situs topsites saya akan dibagi pada peserta terutama bila mempunyai situs game sehingga lomba seo bukan sekedar membuang waktu dan uang untuk mencari backlink.
